Company Benefits
We'll show you options and develop your benefits package based on your goals. We complete annual reviews for our company clients and stay involved during the year.
Company benefits can be placed for the 1st of any month and are not limited to Jan 1st. There are no waiting periods, and yes pre-existing conditions are covered. If you would like a QUOTE, please email insurance@nwmbi.com with either our form Company Quote Request form or send your census information in any format you prefer. If you are at early stages and not ready to mention to your employees, that is okay! We can still provide proposals based on the best info you can provide. An example of premiums from the different carriers for a 40 year old in Kootenai county Idaho: Kootenai County Small Group 40 year old premium (employers pay at minimum a portion of employee premium and with cafeteria/pop plan can set up employee's portion to be drawn from payroll pre-tax). We even offer Voluntary Group Dental packages which are a simple and effective way to help your employees feel valued without you needing to place a full benefits package.
Group policies can be written for as few as 2 people ~ this opens doors for the PPO network to even the smallest of employers. So if your income is at the stage where you are not eligible for the individual premium tax credit, let's run comparisons for you and see what you think.
Quick note about possible SHOP tax credits for small business employers. Yes this can be helpful for many. If eligible, SHOP tax credits are available for two consecutive years and when using specific carriers. We can get a possible guess-timate of any eligibility at HealthCare.gov but it is not a monthly credit like you may have heard is true with folks who do not have company benefits, rather any credits you may be eligible for would be received all at once granting a refund on your company tax return or reducing your tax owed.
Northwest Managed Benefits, Inc. offers multi-faceted resources alongside a diverse array of policy products from a multitude of carriers. We have flexibility in creating benefits packages for your unique situation for any size company.

Dental or Vision
Dental policies will often have waiting periods if you have a break in dental coverages. But yes we can even help with that! For those who are eligible for tax credits, enrolling through your state marketplace may reduce not only your children's medical premium but may also reduce your children's dental premium too ~ please ask us.
